The steady but unstoppable globalization of commercial markets has made the internationalization of companies in our region an inevitable challenge, one that must be undertaken with the guidance of expert professionals across the various disciplines that make up International Trade. Global markets offer vast business opportunities, but they are also highly demanding environments where excuses are not accepted, and mistakes are not tolerated.

When we talk about international product trade, we refer to business relationships that typically involve three closely interconnected areas: Logistics and Transport, Trade and Contracting, and Insurance and Payment Methods. Our firm specializes in providing comprehensive advisory services across all these fields, ensuring that our clients achieve the highest possible commercial success.

Logistics and Transportation:

Goods travel to their recipients through different means (by road, rail, air, and sea). During this transit, incidents may occur that result in the loss or damage of the cargo. Examples include frozen or refrigerated food spoiling due to refrigeration failures in containers, or bottled goods being lost as a result of a truck accident during transport.

Given the possibility of such contingencies, it is essential to have a legal team that minimizes risks through the optimal drafting of clauses in logistics service contracts, ensuring that transport, distribution, and storage activities are carried out under conditions where the risks assumed by our clients remain under control at all times. Should such contingencies already have occurred, the professionals at our firm provide expert advice to our clients, interpreting the clauses of existing agreements and the applicable law, in order to recover the cargo or obtain compensation for the damages and losses caused by its loss, deterioration, or destruction.

Whatever the means of transportation, the type of cargo, its origin or destination, or the different legal systems involved, our team of lawyers is fully prepared to provide the best advice and defense, so that the safety of your goods in transit is one less concern for you.

Trade and Contracting:

In commercial relations between companies of different nationalities, a number of commercial conditions come into play. These derive from the various applicable legal systems and from the clauses contained in the contracts entered into by the parties. Such conditions, often drafted in complex legal terminology, usually include:

01.

United Nations Convention…

…on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

02.

INCOTERMS...

…(International Commercial Terms).

03.

Uniform…

…Commercial Code (UCC).

04.

Other commercial conditions…

…depending on each industry.

Insurance and Payment Solutions:

In international trade, it is essential to ensure that goods arrive safely and that payments are secured. The global marketplace is complex, with constant changes in the tools and regulations designed to protect shipments and guarantee payments.

This is why companies operating across borders require trusted professionals by their side. At TempleCAMBRIA, our team ensures that both the delivery of goods and the receipt of payment are fully protected. And if any issue arises, we act swiftly through judicial or arbitral channels to safeguard our clients’ rights, always aiming for the best outcome in the shortest possible time.
