The Coronavirus masks are here to stay. Not only are they mandatory now,
in the state of alarm, but they will continue to be so in the future, in the so-called “new normality”, until the government ends the crisis of
covid-19 completely. The draft of the decree for this new normality is planned to be approved on Tuesday 9th June 2020, in the Council of Ministers. The use of face masks is mandatory without an end date when in closed public places where the distance of 1.5-2 meters cannot be maintained and a fine of up to 100 euros for not wearing them. The decree leaves open the possibility of regulating them in outdoor areas, without fixing anything at the moment.
Finally all of Andalucía, including Malaga and Granada, will pass to phase
3 on Monday, 8th June 2020. So, “Breaking News”: from one minute past midnight on Monday 8th June 2020 you can travel through all the provinces in Andalucia; this was announced by the President of the Junta de Andalucia on Saturday 6th June 2020.
In the last hour Moreno said: “With the endorsement of the committee of experts from Monday June 8 you can travel freely throughout the territory of Andalucia.
“We are entering a difficult and delicate moment. The coronavirus is still with us. “We have subdued it but not defeated it and its contagion capacity remains the same. “The presence of the virus in Andalucia is lower than that of the rest of Spain due to the responsible attitude of the Andalucíans and the anticipation with which we have faced this crisis.”
Also, in phase 3, the capacity of bars and restaurants, the use of common areas in shopping malls and hotels, and greater concentrations of people in funeral homes and places of worship are expanded . The restoration includes the bars, but provided that a distance of two meters is left between the groups. Nightlife venues, such as nightclubs, are being allowed to open but with restrictions.
Meeting groups can be up to 20 people and institutional outdoor parties, such as weddings, 150 if it is outdoors. 75 people are allowed inside.
However, on Monday 22nd June 2020, the previous normality will not be recovered, since the central government will approve on Tuesday, 23rd June 2020, a royal decree-law with instructions for a period that will extend until the introduction of a vaccine against Covid-19 or a therapeutic remedy. If the alarm state is lifted, there will still be some restrictions, e.g. masks.
